At Kula Yoga Shala our intention is to warmly welcome you to your practice exactly as you are. We seek to provide a sacred space that supports you on your journey through the guidance of inspiring teachers and a full diversity of practices from dynamic & exhilarating to calming & centering. But most of all our focus resides in opening up access to an authentic studio experience for all people regardless of age, income, ability, gender, ethnicity, or life circumstance.
The word Kula means cosmic family or community. And it is community that dwells at the heart of our purpose. We are a cooperative of over 30 devoted yoga teachers offering more than 38 classes each week all by donation. In the spirit of Karma Yoga, detaching from the fruits of our actions, we lovingly place the survival of the studio in the hands of our students, and ask that you simply give what you think is a fair and appropriate donation based on the value you place on your practice.
